MCSE Certificate - What is it’s value?

MCSE certificate have little-to-no value. Why?

Because today, there are to many MCSE “Boot camps” where people are being paid to teach, not the subject matter, rather how to pass a test and nothing more.

It’s not the fault of the students, but many are there because their state government paid for this change of career due to either a previous accident or simply the loss of a previous job.

Being taught only how to pass the test degrades the value of the MCSE certificate markedly, as learning how to pass the test gives one not one single usefull skill level.

I have literally known of someone with an MCSE certificate who could not physically plug a printer into the back of a computer.

That’s not a nice thing to do to a student there to learn something.

Nor is a nice thing to do to his/her future employers.
