Do you use MSN Messenger?

Would you like to use it anywhere, on any computer?
And still have access to your “buddies” list?
But you don’t want to download MSN Messenger software?

You can using MSN web Messenger, simply point your web browser here.

Tips:
If you’ve gotten wise and moved from the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser to the Mozilla Firefox web browser you will get a message from this site stating that you have to use Microsoft Internet Explorer at that site.

You don’t.

Simply open Mozilla Firefox and go here or if that link dies, you can run this Google search.

Install “User Agent Switcher”, close and restart Firefox.
Click on Tools, User Agent Switcher and choose Internet Explorer, then go to the MSN web Messenger site.

(Actually, this tip will work for many sites demanding that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer.)

If you are also protecting yourself from spyware using the NoScript javascript protection for Firefox (highly suggested) you will have to enable two sites for this messenger window to work. As you get the javascript errors, right-click on your browser, click on “NoScript” and choose “Allow …” for both msn.com and live.com - viola! You’re on.

Login and you’ll have a small MSN messenger window open up with your contacts already there. No need to download MSN Messenger software.

This of course means that you can access your MSN buddies from any computer, anywhere you happen to be. Just take the usualy privacy cautions after exiting the MSN Messenger session.
