Linux vs Windows is a debate that has been ongoing now in serious IT circles for the last 4 years.

Before that, the use of Linux was geared to the IT professional or technically minded person only. Which means that most of you have never heard of Linux, or if you have heard of it, have only a vague idea what it is or what it does. So I’ll start off with that assumption and move on from there.
