Blue tooth phone virus reported in US
The Cabir virus (worm actually, because it spreads itself to other cell phones via your blue tooth cell phone) has been reported in 12 other countries, and now in the U.S..
This blue tooth phone virus will show up as the word ‘Caribe’ on your screen. At this point, you need a data backup and your phone needs a reset.
Other than spread itself, it’s supposed to do nothing more insidious to your blue tooth phone than drain the battery.
If you have a blue tooth phone, I suggest you backup your data as soon, and as often as possible. As the article above states, IBM predicts more of the same…
