Windows Vista - Beta 1 and already 5 viruses!

Microsoft Windows Vista (used to be named Longhorn) is currently at Beta 1 - which is the first of the public test versions.

Already, according to a researcher at the F-Secure anti-virus company and reported by ZDNet of Australia, there are _FIVE_ proof of concept viruses for Windows Vista out in the open.

These viruses directly target the new command line interface (which may or may not be shipped with Vista at this point) similar to what you get if you click on Start, Run and type in “cmd” in Windows XP.

The proof-of-concept viruses, along with detailed explanations of how they work, were included in a magazine that was published on the Web over the last week.

Can you say “Job security”?
