Internet Explorer security woes
The online technical news site eWeek.com has a section of their website titled “Browser Security” where you can see a listing of their previous Internet browser security articles.
A ‘browser’ being a program such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc. that one can use to view Internet websites.
I happened upon eWeek’s “Browser Security” listing today and decided to do a quick tally.
There are a total of 56 articles.
35 of which mention Internet Explorer or Internet Explorer problems. That is, 62.5% of their “Browser Security” articles are regarding Internet Explorer.
Here is a small sampling of the article titles and excerpts:

Developers have been warned about the risks of IE, and specifically of ActiveX.IE Flaws Boost Browser Switching

Opinion: With more exploits popping up every day, enterprises need to start thinking seriously about alternatives such as Mozilla and Opera, Senior Analyst Jason Brooks writes.
