Cell phone virus on the loose
Well, that didn’t take long…
Anit-virus maker F-Secure, usually one of the top ranking in anti-virus tests, has found a cell phone MMS virus (MMS is a text message that include an image, audio or video file) that also travels along computer email routes. Of course this means that this cell phone virus can spread via your computer as well.
This particular cell phone virus is hitting Sybian model 60 units, and of course computers via email.
A cell phone virus can be a pain if you don’t have your data backed up, just as (hopefully) you do with your computer data, you call lose it.
There are many ways of backing up your phone data, and these vary depending on the make/model and service provider. This can include syncing with your computer, but remember to back this up as well.

Yes, the MMS viruses might be really easy to get.
The tricky part of the game is, that very good social engineering is involved in this. So you have to learn don’t trust MMS from your friends or business partners.
