A computer and networking blog

I thought I’d make this first post answer the question “Another blog — why?”.

I have owned a company that works in the small office and home office computer and computer network service industry for the last 14 years.

This industry (like many others) has its share of good, bad and ugly parts within it. I have worked with all of these types, so of course I have my prejudices in the area of computers and computer networks.

Some of you may be able to benefit from my experience, so I’m going to start offering my views on what works well in the computers and computer networks that my company services and hope that it will be of some assistance to you, or give you a reason why I’m a bit grumpy about certain subjects. If you are new to the field, then I hope you get some insight here; if you are an experienced computer or computer network specialist, then you are welcome to offer alternate ideas for others to benefit from. I am always interested in software or hardware that WORKS for my small office and home office clients. I will try just about anything, but for my clients, I don’t like having to go back and re-fix anything — maybe it’s because I’m lazy, but it seems to me a waste of time to fix something a second or third time. If this is of interest to you, then enjoy my blog!
